The Process

When doing a wedding painting live, I have a few separate goals in mind. Capturing the essence of the couple and the atmosphere of their day is the most important task to me. I not only aim for the unique details of their wedding to be captured in real time, but also for the pair’s love to be felt from the piece itself. The newlyweds, of course, will always be the highlight and main focus of the painting. This allows the unforgettable experience of their special day to be commemorated through the process of art!

Recreating Your Pet onto Canvas

When painting a client’s pet, I request several different things from my clients to ensure absolute success in bringing their pet’s personality to the canvas. This, of course, is one of my biggest goals!
Firstly, I like to receive multiple photos of their furry friend. This not only allows for me to see the animal from several angles, but also lets me see their unique personality in day to day life! Any pet owner knows that each animal has a distinct set of characteristics which you grow to learn and love. These characteristics should be represented in the painting!
I adore hearing little stories of the way your particular pet affected, or continues to affect your life. The small details give me the insight that I need to guarantee the best painting one could hope for.

Celebrating Life

What an incredibly moving experience it is to commemorate a life lived. I will never feel anything but admiration for all of the ways humans can honor those that they love. We can keep memories alive in a multitude of ways, and one of those ways is through art. And I am so glad I could help this beautiful family – Remember. I feel so incredibly blessed to do the work that I do.

All of This Love

What a beautiful opportunity it was to create something for this amazing family. I am sending them all of the love & light in the world, always. There are no words on loss that I could say that haven’t already been said, and probably articulated better than I could myself. But I will say that after experiencing loss, the darkness that follows is probably the darkest days we
as people will have to navigate in our lives. We have to search within ourselves for a willingness to get through the day, and a strength to keep looking for light despite the tragedy that we have been introduced to. I am unsure if the pain of loss, the confusion, and the darkness ever completely leaves us. But I know that it can fade, as life begins to grow once again around the hole that our loved one’s absence brought. And if we are lucky, a time comes where for a moment- we feel thankful for what that soul has left us with. All of this light, and all of this love. Here’s to this beautiful family, and to their sweet Brynn.

Fitting into Any Setting

When it comes to painting live at a wedding, I aim to effortlessly fit into each and every couple’s venue. The setting of the special day itself can take time to create, and is forever memorable to both the newlyweds and their valued guests. Décor, lighting, seating. It all comes together to create a stunning final product. Sometimes- adding wedding vendors into this “final product” can create some problems. Not with a live wedding artist! My setup is portable, self sufficient, and takes up little to no space. The necessary lighting and equipment needed for my service comes with the final price. Hiring a live artist at your wedding truly opens up the opportunity to add that next level of elegance to your special day, without running into any frustrating complications.
